Bellman Position

Seeking Bellman with previous experience in a luxury hotel setting. Responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage, meeting and greeting guests upon arrival and departure, provide assistance to front desk staff and security requests as needed.

• Greeting arriving guests and retrieving their luggage.
• Escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the room facilities
• Deliver luggage, messages, faxes, packages to guests and to undertake various other requests in order to ensure their comfort
• Transport departing guests' luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
• Assist with keeping lobby area clean and orderly
• Ensure that luggage has been stored safely according to prescribed procedures
• Be fully aware of what functions are going on in the hotel
• Provide gracious, attentive, and friendly service
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment
• Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must have basic English skills
• High School Diploma
• Two Years Customer Service in a hotel setting preferred

Must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret hotel documents. Ability to effectively present information and thoroughly answer questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.

Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office programs.

Working Conditions

This person will be exposed to varied working conditions; indoors in restaurant, outdoors across the property. Outdoor/indoor conditions may include extreme heat and/or cold weather and exposure to fumes, airborne particles and toxic chemicals. This person may also have varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Seasonal, hourly position, requiring you to work days and nights, as well as weekends and holidays
