Job Title
Perform visual inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, and eddy current inspection or ultrasonic thickness during the removal and overhaul on both nuclear and nonnuclear ship/boats.
Participate in conducting audits, submitting reports, and recommendations.
Investigate and submit reports on assigned problem areas and special projects.
Perform inspections as a preventative maintenance measure on critical systems on nuclear submarines, welds and components.
Work in association with engineers/metallurgists towards investigation/resolution of problems.
