Job Summary:
Emergency Nursing position in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role involves providing family-centered, culturally sensitive, evidence-based care in the emergency department. The nurse will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care, advocate for patient needs, and support quality improvement initiatives. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic clinical environment dedicated to safety, best practices, and professional growth.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time, Variable Shifts with 12-hour hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN License, Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, at least 3 months remaining before BLS expiration, 3 years of experience in emergency room nursing, Colorado state licensure or eligibility, and 0 years of experience required in addition to the specified qualifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a fast-paced emergency care environment is preferred
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves delivering patient and family-centered care, collaborating within inter-professional teams, utilizing evidence-based practices, engaging in quality improvement activities, and supporting safety and informatics initiatives to optimize patient outcomes. The nurse will participate in professional development, community involvement, and act as a clinical resource to peers and students.
