Water/Wastewater Engineer
A multi-disciplined growing consulting firm is looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater engineer to their growing Des Moines office! Great opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment! Working as a point of contact for local communities and representing the company at meetings.
Duties:
- Preparation of water and wastewater calculations and design plans
- Managing the project budgets and timelines
- Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Preparation of regulatory permits and technical reports for projects
- Ability to work with mechanical, aerated ponds, water and wastewater pump stations, on-site treatment systems, and trenchless sewer rehabilitation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer required
- 4 or more years of municipal water and wastewater experience including project and client management experience
- Civil 3D, Water CAD, WinSLAMM modeling, and ArcView experience preferred
