Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a vibrant educational environment supporting secondary students! This full-time, onsite opportunity is perfect for a skilled OT passionate about empowering students' growth and fostering independence within a school setting.
In this contract position, you'll work through June 23, 2027, providing direct therapy services and mentorship. You'll make a meaningful impact by collaborating with students, teachers, and families to develop individualized strategies that enhance students' participation and success in the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington Occupational Therapist license required
- Must be fingerprinted through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
- Confidence in working with secondary student populations
- Ability to supervise and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Role Highlights:
- Deliver targeted OT services to address students’ educational needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise and guide a dedicated COTA to maximize student success
- Track progress and maintain thorough records to support each student's growth
- Facilitate communication among families, teachers, and administrators for holistic care
