Warehouse ManagerConsolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is hiring a management level position, responsible for leading the warehouse operations side of our wholesale supply business. The warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role leads and develops warehouse staff, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. The warehouse manager works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve productivity, and meet customer service expectations. Key responsibilities include managing shipping and receiving activities, implementing best practices for inventory control, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.Reports to: Operations ManagerMinimum qualifications:High school diploma or equalValid driver's license with acceptable recordStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and associated functionsExcellent communications skills, creative problem-solving skills, and organizational skillsAdditional competencies:Proven work experience or clear demonstration of the ability to lead a teamWell-developed attention to details and a desire to be highly accurateStellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgencyDesire for future opportunities and growth, with the desire to earn themPreferred qualifications:College degree or 4 years of relevant work experienceTwo or more years' experience leading a teamElectrical distribution or similar wholesale distribution experienceExperience recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring employeesWorking conditions:This job operates in a professional environment primarily in a warehouse, with frequent outside yard activities, and occasional off-site travel in company vehicles.
