Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient clinical experience required. Experience evaluating and treating orthopedic and post-operative patients preferred. Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in an outpatient EMR required. Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide patient and family education. Willingness to float to other nearby clinics as needed. Floating to another location is required by the client. Preferred: Prior experience supervising students and participating in student programs. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Duration: 13 week assignment. Start: Assignment start date listed by client; recruiter will confirm exact start details. Floating: Candidate will be required to float to a nearby clinic as part of assignment.
