Welder – MIG / Stick Direct Hire

TOPS Staffing is looking for experienced Shop Welders to join a growing manufacturing operation. If you're a solid MIG/Stick welder looking for a long-term shop position, steady Monday-Friday hours, and strong union benefits, this is a great opportunity.

Schedule & Pay 2nd Shift:

• Monday–Friday Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Starting Pay: $26.00/hour

Initial training will be completed on daylight shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

What You'll Be Doing

• MIG and Stick weld fabricated steel components
• Read and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
• Fit, prep, grind, and clean materials before welding
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Make adjustments as needed to produce quality welds
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete basic production and quality documentation
• Learn additional welding processes as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous MIG and Stick welding experience required
• Must be able to successfully complete a weld test
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• SAW experience is a plus, but not required — training is available
