Territory Manager

Based in Detroit or Ann Arbor, MI | Multi-State Territory Position Overview A growing medical technology organization is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales of innovative surgical technologies used in high‑acuity OR environments. The portfolio includes intraoperative blood-flow assessment and advanced robotic suction and irrigation solutions designed to improve surgical precision, workflow efficiency, and clinical decision‑making. This is a true hunter role for an experienced medical device sales professional who excels at developing new business, building surgeon relationships, and selling both capital equipment and disposable products. Key Responsibilities Develop new business and expand existing accounts across the territory. Build strong relationships with surgeons and key hospital stakeholders. Lead consultative sales discussions focused on clinical outcomes, efficiency, and economic value. Manage the full sales cycle, including evaluations, trials, capital equipment, and disposables. Provide OR support, product education, and clinical training. Navigate complex hospital purchasing processes, including supply chain and value analysis. Develop territory growth strategies and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting. Collaborate with complementary surgical representatives to drive adoption. Ideal Candidate 5+ years of surgical medical device sales experience with strong OR presence. Proven success in new business development and territory growth. Experience selling clinical value propositions to surgeons. Experience with capital and disposable products and complex hospital sales. Strong hunter mentality with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Startup or high‑growth medical device experience preferred. Ability to work independently across a multi‑state territory.
