Step into a vital role supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students at an elementary, middle, or high school campus. This contract position is perfect for skilled Sign Language Interpreters who thrive in collaborative educational environments and are passionate about enhancing student learning experiences. You’ll be engaged on-site—not remote—working closely with both individual students and small groups to foster access and inclusion throughout the school day.

In this fulfilling opportunity, you’ll provide full-time support throughout the academic year with up to 37.5 hours per week. Your skills will be put to meaningful use as you help guide students from a range of age groups, ensuring they’re connected to classroom instruction, campus activities, and essential communications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter; 3.0 EIPA score or higher is required
• Successful completion of required fingerprinting (or transferable prints via AHCA Clearinghouse)
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and student advocacy
• Flexible approach to supporting students from elementary through high school ages
• Prior experience with school-aged DHH students is highly valued

Duties & Expectations:

• Deliver interpretation services for 1:1 and group settings
• Work collaboratively with educators, staff, and fellow interpreters on campus
• Adapt to a variety of classroom settings and age groups per assignment
• Maintain accurate, ethical, and confidential communication at all times
