General Production Worker – Paint & Powder Coater

Manufacturing Environment | 1st & 2nd Shift Available

What You'll Do

• Prepare metal parts for paint and powder coating
• Grind, sand, polish, deburr, clean, and mask components
• Inspect finished parts for quality and defects
• Use hand tools and measuring tools (tape measures, gauges)
• Package and prepare parts for shipping
• Move materials using carts, forklifts, and cranes
• Work with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with hand tools and metal finishing
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform quality checks and inspections
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn paint and powder coating processes
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE

Preferred Experience

• Powder coating or industrial painting
• Grinding, sanding, polishing, or deburring
• Fabrication, welding, assembly, or machining environments
• Reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Forklift or crane experience
• Quality inspection experience
• Using measuring tools and gauges

Shifts Available

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanborn, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
