Position Overview

We invite you to become a member of our dedicated team of imaging experts as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic examinations while collaborating with a nurturing group of clinicians, working together to provide timely and accurate imaging that brings comfort and reassurance to patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a spectrum of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are achieved
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
