Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Orthopedic-specific X-ray experience required. Carestream compass/fit experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3+ years of experience preferred. Weightbearing orthopedic X-ray experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Prior employment at the facility may be considered on a one-off exception basis with approval from St. Luke’s Health System. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Carestream Compass/Fit experience is required. Performs orthopedic weightbearing films and ortho package imaging, including leg length and scoliosis; does everything except soft tissue, abdomen, and chest studies. Uses Epic and Change Healthcare. Department equipment includes Carestream, Siemens portable, and EOS X-ray systems. Dual-room setup with 2 X-ray rooms connected together and 2 techs per room. X-rays are scheduled the same day based on which MD is in clinic.

Shift & Scheduling: 4hr to 10hr shifts Mon-Fri and any where from 730-530 (variable in those hours) Weekday clinic schedule with varying start times based on provider schedules; manager assigns the schedule. No weekends. No holidays. No call.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
