Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Lead to join our Client's Plating Company team in North Hollywood, CA. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Training will be from 7 am–3:30 pm. The person needs to be hands‑on and able to work with little supervision. Responsibilities Control day‑to‑day maintenance activities to keep the facility operating at peak capacity. Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance in troubleshooting and repairs. Supervise routine upkeep of shop equipment, including air compressors, boilers, rectifiers, and electrical systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance needs with production schedules. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure availability. Coordinate major repairs with outside vendors (air compressors, boilers, chillers, etc.). Ensure a safe and clean working environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Excellent leadership and team‑management skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
