Registered Behavior Technician

In-Home Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Job OverviewGroundwork ABA is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy services to children with autism and related developmental needs. RBTs work directly with clients under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.This position requires strong communication skills, patience, professionalism, and the ability to engage children through play-based and structured learning activities.ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy sessionsImplement behavior intervention and treatment plans designed by the BCBACollect accurate session data and document client progressTeach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skillsUse positive reinforcement and behavior management strategiesMaintain professional communication with caregivers and supervisorsArrive on time and prepared for scheduled sessionsComplete session notes and documentation in a timely mannerMaintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelinesParticipate in supervision and ongoing training as requiredRequirementsActive RBT Certification High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, ABA, or related field preferredReliable transportation and valid drivers licenseAbility to pass background screeningStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in client homesExperience working with children preferredDesired SkillsPatience and compassionAbility to remain calm during challenging behaviorsStrong problem-solving skillsProfessionalism and reliabilityPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to follow treatment plans consistentlyComfortable engaging in play-based therapy and active sessionsBenefitsFlexible schedulingBCBA supervision and supportOngoing training opportunitiesMeaningful and rewarding work with children and familiesOpportunities for growth within the company
