Clinical Support Nurse

Role Overview MTMC Clinical is seeking Per Diem Clinical Support Nurses (RN) to collaborate with healthcare facilities on the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing adoption of medical devices and clinical supplies. In this on-site, overnight travel-required role, you will bridge the gap between clinical teams and innovative medical technologies. You will deliver hands-on education, support product trials, collect end-user feedback, and ensure devices are used safely and effectively according to established clinical protocols. We are actively recruiting Per Diem Registered Nurses for upcoming health system conversions and implementations. Candidates should expect short-term, high-impact assignments generally spanning 3 to 4 days. Key Responsibilities Clinical Education & Training: Plan and conduct in-services, staff education, and hands-on training for hospital and clinic personnel on new medical devices and supplies. Implementation & Product Support: Guide healthcare facilities through product trials, conversions, and go-lives, ensuring seamless integration into daily clinical workflows. Data & Feedback Collection: Document clinical observations, track performance outcomes, gather end-user feedback, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal sales and clinical teams to translate healthcare insights into actionable strategies that improve patient care. Compliance & Best Practices: Promote patient safety, risk reduction, and adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols during device utilization. Qualifications Education & Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required. ASN or BSN required. Clinical Experience: Hands-on nursing experience in acute care, specialty care, or similar clinical environments. Training Capabilities: Proven track record in clinical instruction, staff training, or device implementation. Technical Aptitude: Tech-savvy with a strong ability to master new medical equipment, electronic documentation tools, and healthcare software quickly. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport across multidisciplinary hospital teams. Organization & Adaptability: Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to manage on-site priorities effectively. Preferred: Experience working with medical device manufacturers, product evaluation committees, or value analysis teams. Advanced specialty certifications are a plus.
