Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient clinical experience required. Experience evaluating and treating orthopedic and post-operative patients preferred.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in an outpatient EMR required.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide patient and family education.
• Willingness to float to other nearby clinics as needed. Floating to another location is required by the client.
• Preferred: Prior experience supervising students and participating in student programs.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Start: Assignment start date listed by client; recruiter will confirm exact start details.
• Floating: Candidate will be required to float to a nearby clinic as part of assignment.
