Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join a litigation-driven practice in Colleyville, Texas, where you will take an active role in client matters and build meaningful courtroom experience. This position is ideal for a lawyer who wants direct responsibility for cases, frequent client interaction, and the chance to strengthen advocacy skills in a collaborative office setting. The work centers primarily on family law, with opportunities to contribute to criminal defense and estate planning matters as needed.Responsibilities:• Lead client meetings, assess legal needs, and guide new matters through the intake process.• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents required for active cases.• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings with a strong focus on effective courtroom advocacy.• Oversee case progress from opening through resolution, ensuring deadlines, filings, and communications are handled accurately and on time.• Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates, explain legal strategy, and address case-related questions.• Manage an individual caseload independently while coordinating with colleagues on litigation strategy and case preparation.• Support matters involving family law and contribute to related work in criminal defense and estate planning when appropriate.
