Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings related to divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law matters.
• Manage complex family law cases from start to finish, including legal research, drafting of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
• Provide legal counsel to clients during mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Collaborate with our legal team to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and inform clients accordingly.
• Attend court appearances and effectively argue cases.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• Proven experience in court appearances, mediation, trial practice, family law, divorce law, child support, custody, divorce cases, and legal writing.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong sense of professional ethics and integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
