Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health to identify their needs and establish effective treatment goals.

• Provide evidence-based individual and couples therapy sessions, employing different therapeutic modalities to address diverse mental health concerns.

• Create and customize treatment plans that reflect the unique situations and goals of each client, collaborating closely with them throughout the process.

• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment strategies based on the ongoing evaluation of client progress and changes in their circumstances.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all client interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration as necessary, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic services to clients.

• Be responsive to clients in crisis, providing timely intervention and support during acute emotional distress or emergencies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and couples, facing various challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Illinois is essential.
