Coding Educator/Auditor

Norwood

Requirements: Experience in multi-office primary care group Active coding certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent Additional certifications (e.g., CRC, CCS-P, CDEO) are a plus CPMA certification preferred (or obtained within 6 months of hire) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related healthcare field preferred 3–5 years of medical coding experience with auditing and provider education responsibilities Experience conducting coding audits (prospective, concurrent, and retrospective) Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, E/M coding, and modifier usage Experience providing provider education, coaching, and training Knowledge of CMS guidelines, payer regulations, and coding compliance requirements Experience with EMR/EHR systems and coding audit tools, specifically eClinicalWorks and Allscripts Ability to analyze audit findings, identify trends, and make recommendations Regional quarterly travel required Must live in GA, NC, SC, AL to accommodate quarterly regional travel requirement What can you expect from your Norwood experience?
