Part-time Phlebotomist-Tampa

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Work Schedule 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7am-12pm, Saturday 7am-11am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of pediatric phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency. Ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. PSTs may be eligible for participation in a PST Incentive Plan.
