This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment with competitive pay and benefits.Compensation & Schedule:$22-26/hour based on experience and qualificationsFull-time, on-site positionMonday-Friday hours, no weekends, occasional eveningsBenefits:401(k) retirement planPaid time off (PTO)Additional benefits availableProfessional development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processesHandle multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiriesProcess insurance verifications, authorizations, and patient registrationMaintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systemCollect co-pays and assist with billing proceduresCoordinate patient flow and support clinical staff with administrative tasksEnsure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient informationQualifications:Must Have:2+ years professional office experience with administrative duties (medical offices, corporate settings, or professional services)Strong software skills with databases, scheduling systems, or EMR platforms (we use EyeMD EMR and Open PM)Excellent customer service and professional communication skillsUnderstanding of confidential information handling and HIPAA/PHI requirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrongly Preferred:Medical office or healthcare administrative experienceEMR systems experience (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, NextGen)Insurance verification and billing knowledgeMedical terminology familiarityBilingual abilities (English/Spanish)Ready to Apply?
