Schedule: Primarily weekdays, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and emergencies

Position Summary

Amen Home Health Care LLC is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and compassionate Residential Program Director to lead and oversee our proposed Georgia DJJ Room, Board and Watchful Oversight (RBWO) residential program.

Our proposed residential facility in Roswell, Georgia, is being developed to provide a safe, structured, supportive, and nurturing living environment for up to six male youth involved in the juvenile justice system, subject to applicable licensing and program approvals.

The selected candidate will oversee daily operations, staff supervision, youth safety, regulatory compliance, program development, and coordination of individualized support services.

We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong leadership skills and experience working with at-risk youth, residential programs, juvenile justice services, behavioral health, or child welfare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational leadership for the residential program.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate residential care workers and designated program staff.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and continuous supervision of residents.
• Maintain compliance with Georgia DJJ RBWO standards, applicable residential childcare licensing rules, and organizational policies.
• Coordinate youth admissions, orientation, individualized service plans, and discharge planning.
• Monitor residents' educational, emotional, behavioral, medical, and social support needs.
• Work collaboratively with DJJ case managers, families, healthcare professionals, schools, and community partners.
• Oversee implementation of behavioral support plans, positive reinforcement strategies, and crisis intervention procedures.
• Ensure timely documentation, incident reporting, progress reports, and accurate resident records.
• Maintain a safe and structured residential environment that promotes responsibility, accountability, and personal development.
• Coordinate staff schedules, professional development, and ongoing training.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting, confidentiality, youth rights, and applicable PREA requirements.
• Participate in DJJ monitoring visits, compliance inspections, case conferences, and program evaluations.
• Support quality assurance activities and ongoing program improvement.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the applicable Georgia Child Caring Institution Director qualification requirements through one of the following pathways:

Option 1 – Master's Degree

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences, social work, childhood education, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of administrative or supervisory experience in a human services delivery setting.

Option 2 – Bachelor's Degree

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the applicable fields listed above.
• At least four years of administrative or supervisory experience in a human services delivery setting.

Additional Requirements

• Strong understanding of residential youth care, staff supervision, and program operations.
• Knowledge of child protection, behavioral management, crisis prevention, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and applicable DJJ screening and training requirements.
• Availability to respond to urgent program matters when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Residential Program Director, Group Home Director, Residential Supervisor, or Human Services Program Manager.
• Experience with Georgia DJJ, DFCS, RBWO programs, or licensed Child Caring Institutions.
• Familiarity with youth rehabilitation, independent living skills, family engagement, and community integration.
• Knowledge of Georgia residential licensing and compliance standards.
• Experience developing policies, conducting staff training, and preparing for regulatory inspections.
