Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experience a rewarding contract opportunity as an itinerant Occupational Therapist serving a diverse range of students across multiple schools in the North Denver area. In this role, you'll provide vital support to elementary, middle, and homebound students, while benefiting from a thoughtfully balanced caseload and schedule flexibility. The assignment begins with a required Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27th–31st, 2026, followed by the school year from August 3rd, 2026 to May 21st, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
• Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) license
• DORA certification
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to serve a mixed population—including direct and indirect caseloads spanning pre-k, elementary, middle school, and homebound environments
• Comfortable working as part of an itinerant team and traveling between schools
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services according to student IEPs across assigned sites (two elementary schools, one middle school, and homebound students)
• Assess, develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans to address a wide variety of student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, other service providers, and families to support student success
• Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Utilize flexible scheduling—position is 0.8 FTE (32 hrs/week), spread over four or five days as preferred, provided service minutes and meetings are met
