Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a registered Occupational Therapist serving schools in the vibrant North Denver area. This itinerant position covers two elementary schools, one middle school, and provides invaluable support to homebound students, offering variety and meaningful impact throughout the academic year.

You'll play a vital role in the educational journeys of students across different age groups, focusing on both direct and consultative OT services. The new case allocation model ensures equitable workloads by balancing assignments based on each school’s unique needs, particularly at preschools and specialized program sites. Working 32 hours per week, you can coordinate your schedule within either four full days or over five days, as long as service minutes and key meetings are met—affording you flexibility and the ability to make the most of your workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students and homebound learners
• Assess, plan, and implement interventions that foster student independence and participation
• Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Document progress and adapt treatment strategies to meet IEP goals
• Attend required meetings and the Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation (July 27–31, 2026)
• Begin on-site assignment August 3, 2026, with the school year running through May 21, 2027

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado OT license and DORA certification
• Colorado Department of Education (DOE) license
• Experience or training in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Adaptability to travel between several school locations
