Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting communication and learning needs within a supportive elementary school setting. This opportunity, located near Arvada, CO, begins August 11, 2026, and concludes September 24, 2026. You'll work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with dedicated school teams while serving a varied student caseload.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Colorado
- CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required; SLP-CFYs encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and case management skills
- Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children and supporting diverse learning needs
Key responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings; provide input and develop SLP-related student goals
- Adapt therapy techniques to match individual student abilities and educational contexts
- Foster an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment
