Job Overview:

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer preferences
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Provide excellent customer service

Opener Role — Morning Prep:

We are also hiring for an Opener position responsible for setting the store up for a successful lunch rush. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in preparation and consistency. Opener duties include:

• Arrive early to open the store and complete all morning setup tasks
• Bake and prep fresh bread for the day, ensuring it meets Jimmy John's quality standards before lunch service begins
• Slice and prep all fresh vegetables — including tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, and peppers — in the required quantities for the day
• Portion and prepare additional ingredients such as tuna salad and any other daily prep items
• Ensure all prep stations and coolers are stocked, organized, and ready before the lunch rush
• Follow all food safety, temperature, and cleanliness standards during prep
• Complete opening checklist and communicate any supply needs to management
