Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities Lead, coach, and mentor an Accounts Payable team of eight professionals Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounts Payable department Manage escalated vendor, invoice, and payment issues and ensure timely resolution Monitor workflow, prioritize responsibilities, and keep the team on track to meet deadlines Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and help improve team engagement and morale Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies Partner with accounting and cross‑functional teams to support business needs Assist with invoice processing as needed during peak periods, while remaining focused primarily on leadership and team support Help ensure timely, accurate, and efficient execution of the full accounts payable cycle Qualifications Previous experience leading or managing an Accounts Payable team Strong understanding of the full accounts payable process in a high‑volume environment Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members Experience resolving complex AP issues and balancing multiple priorities Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills Ability to quickly build relationships and make an immediate impact Experience working with large ERP systems is preferred Additional Information Team processes approximately 15,000 invoices per month Some overtime may be required during peak periods Immediate start preferred Contract assignment with the potential to extend based on business needs This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable leader looking to make an immediate impact with a collaborative organization while leading an established AP team through an important period of transition. #J-18808-Ljbffr
