Accounts Payable Manager

SNI Companies is partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This position will oversee the company's accounts payable and payroll functions while supporting the Controller and CFO with day-to-day accounting operations. Compensation: $100,000–$110,000K Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management. Supervise and mentor a team of two Accounts Payable Clerks. Oversee payables reporting and identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiencies. Manage Positive Pay, ACH vendor audits, new vendor setup, and 1099 preparation and reporting. Process multi-state payroll from start to finish for 50+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts. Administer employee benefits and support the company's corporate benefits program. Prepare W-2s, process garnishments, and coordinate executive bonus payments. Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on monthly accounting activities, financial reporting, and special projects. Assist with month-end close and other general accounting responsibilities as needed. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, accounting policies, and internal controls. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting, accounts payable, and payroll experience. Previous experience processing payroll in-house for a small or mid-sized organization. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, payroll, 1099 reporting, Positive Pay, ACH transactions, and vendor management. Experience improving accounting workflows and implementing process efficiencies. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting and payroll systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
