Drives the business plan for an assigned area of responsibility to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, and safety by: Implementing operational improvements.Monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget.Monitoring asset utilization.Developing, distributing, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Oversees the daily operations of the Maintenance Department by: Monitoring and driving department performance related to maintaining manufacturing equipment.Ensuring associate compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, including OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Stormwater, and DOT requirements related to maintenance operations. Coordinates with senior leaders to provide input into equipment and facility design initiatives. Ensures the successful implementation of modified and new equipment within the facility. Leads maintenance training programs as required. Reviews maintenance budget estimates and ensures the efficient use of funds by eliminating unnecessary and repetitive purchases. Collaborates with Maintenance associates to optimize capacity and service delivery. Partners with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Safety, Food Safety/Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance, to achieve operational objectives.
