Bring your expertise in behavioral analysis to a rewarding opportunity supporting schools near Bear, DE as a Dean of Behavior. This contract position is ideal for professionals with a background as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or ABA Therapist, ready to shape positive outcomes for students and school communities.
Utilize your skills to create and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, mentor staff, and drive meaningful progress in a collaborative educational environment. As more specifics about the administrative aspect of the Dean of Behavior role become available, you will help lead initiatives that foster an inclusive and supportive climate for all students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Proven experience as an ABA Therapist or similar behavioral role in educational settings
- Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor behavioral support plans
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with staff and students
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate behavioral intervention plans across multiple classrooms or schools
- Collaborate closely with administration, teachers, and families to promote positive behavior supports
- Mentor and train school staff on behavioral management strategies and ABA principles
- Analyze behavioral data to inform decisions and adjust strategies for student success
- Contribute to the overall culture of the school by supporting equity, respect, and high expectations
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory standards
