Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in Autism and Early Years Programs as a school-based behavior professional! If you're passionate about providing behavioral support in an educational environment, this contract opportunity offers the chance to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from August 2026 to June 2027. With a focus on moderate to severe cognitive needs, you'll help foster positive outcomes for students in an engaging, collaborative setting.

Key Qualifications:

For BCBA candidates: Active BCBA certification is required; school-based experience is highly valued.
For Behavior Specialist candidates: Delaware PARA Permit required; relevant degree and ABA program experience preferred. RBT or in pursuit of BCBA certification a plus.
Strong understanding of behavior strategies and dedication to data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary school teams.
Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental delays is ideal.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct behavioral assessments and develop tailored support plans.
Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement effective intervention strategies.
Monitor student progress through data collection and adjust behavioral interventions as needed.
Lead professional development sessions and provide training for school staff.
Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to school and program guidelines.
Serve as a resource within early childhood and autism program classrooms.

This assignment is based entirely on-site, providing a dynamic and interactive environment to make a daily difference. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on shaping positive experiences for students in both Autism and Early Years/PreK programs.
