Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Opportunity

Seeking part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in the Norwalk and Clyde Ohio, and the surrounding area. The responsibility will be to provide psychiatric medication management to residents in long term care facilities. This skilled professional must be able to work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement or evaluate treatment plans. We are seeking a skilled professional that is committed to providing these services with a high level of integrity and thrives for excellence in the care of the residents. We are offering a competitive compensation package and a sign on bonus for this opportunity.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio with Advance Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing or a PA license.
Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
Board Certified
Psychiatric experience required.
Geriatric experience preferred.
Active DEA required.
Ability to travel locally required.
