Senior Revenue Accountant- REMOTE!

Job Description

Rapidly growing, private-equity backed technology company is looking to hire a Senior Revenue Accountant to handle the operational and technical accounting related to the revenue area. The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Handle monthly close responsibilities related to revenue, including booking deferred revenue and completing revenue reconciliations
\n
• Evaluate new customer contracts and set up in the system to ensure proper revenue recognition
\n
• Handle end to end customer billing on a monthly basis
\n
• Ensure revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
\n
• Assist in establishing streamlined policies and procedures and create efficiencies where possible
\n
• Ad hoc projects
\n

The Senior Revenue Accountant must possess the following:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
\n
• 5+ years of accounting experience
\n
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition under GAAP
\n
• Prior experience with billing/invoicing
\n
• Experience with recurring revenue models a plus
\n

Position will work 100% REMOTE! Must be on EST or CST
