This opportunity is ideal for a Payroll Clerk who enjoys inhouse, fullcycle payroll, complex calculations, and working closely with departments to resolve payroll issues, without direct people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk

• Process fullcycle, inhouse payroll for approximately 800 fulltime employees on a semimonthly basis, including payroll tax processing through EFTPS.
• Support employee payroll by calculating hours, auditing reports, and ensuring accurate module processing.
• Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits, retirement plans, and payroll liabilities, including reconciliations.
• Prepare and audit overtime, compensatory time, classbased calculations, and expired comp time payouts.
• Maintain payroll calendars, schedules, and documentation while partnering with departments to resolve payroll issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of recent, handson payroll experience; highereducation payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office; PeopleSoft experience is highly desirable.
