- Lead the Management Accounts function, overseeing the full month-end close to deliver accurate, timely reporting
- Produce performance and variance analysis, offering strategic insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Manage the consolidation of the UK P&L for management reporting
- Oversee balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOX and internal controls
- Design, enhance and standardise processes, driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement
- Line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants and coordinate the wider management accounts team
- Support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Support statutory year-end audits, internal controls and SOX activities.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience leading a management accounts team
- Proven leadership capability, with experience guiding teams through organisational change
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Power Platform tools (including M code and Power BI)
- Excellent ERP knowledge
- Previous US GAAP and SOX experience, including ASC 606
- Experience in public sector or outsourced business services
- Familiarity with SAP ByDesign
- Experience working within a matrix organisation.
