Junior Personal Lines Customer Service Representative - Independent Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 70k/year - Philadelphia, PA

• Our client, a growing independent insurance agency, is seeking a Junior Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join their team in the Philadelphia area. This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys client interaction, policy servicing, and developing their insurance sales skills within a high-volume agency environment.
• The Junior Personal Lines Customer Service Representative will support an existing book of business while assisting clients with policy servicing, renewals, coverage changes, claims support, and account rounding opportunities. This position works directly with multiple insurance carriers and clients to ensure accurate policy administration and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a Personal Lines book of business.
  
• Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, billing questions, ID cards, certificates, and coverage updates.
  
• Process policy transactions accurately and communicate directly with insurance carriers and insureds regarding updates and policy activity.
  
• Support clients throughout the claims process and provide policy-related guidance.
  
• Review policies for coverage gaps and assist with account rounding and additional coverage opportunities.
  
• Assist with remarketing accounts and renewal preparation with multiple insurance carriers.
  
• Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines, coverage options, and product updates.
  
• Utilize AMS360 and agency management systems to maintain accurate client records and policy documentation.
  
• Coordinate with carrier representatives regarding underwriting, policy servicing, and client requests.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Personal Lines insurance servicing experience within an independent insurance agency environment.
  
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers including Nationwide, Travelers, Progressive, and similar carriers.
  
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
  
• Experience using AMS360 agency management software.
  
• Experience handling Personal Lines policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, billing inquiries, and coverage changes.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 60k – 70k/year range plus per-policy commission opportunities.
