Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) & Flexible scheduling

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join an established outpatient orthopedic practice in Las Cruces, NM. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced physical therapists and new graduates who are passionate about helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their functional goals.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in orthopedic and movement-related conditions , strong clinical and communication skills, and a commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility limitations, injuries, and functional needs.

• Review and interpret patient assessments, test results, and medical information.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's condition and goals.

• Provide physical therapy interventions to reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve function.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

• Educate patients on exercises, treatment plans, and strategies for continued improvement.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy ( DPT ) degree required.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Must have successfully passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) .

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, observational, and clinical reasoning skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment strategies.

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
