Job Description Job Description Business Restructuring & Reorganization Attorney – Los Angeles Direct Counsel is seeking a Business Restructuring & Reorganization Associate to join a leading Am Law 100 firm in its Los Angeles office . This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney to work alongside nationally recognized practitioners in a sophisticated practice with top-tier clients and high-impact matters. Key Qualifications: 4–6 years of experience in a top-tier law firm environment Substantive experience representing corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, individual creditors, and third-party purchasers in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and restructurings Prior experience clerking for a bankruptcy judge and/or working in a corporate restructuring/bankruptcy practice strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and oversee daily workflow for restructuring matters at varying stages Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school Compensation & Benefits: Competitive annual salary range: $310,000 – $390,000, depending on experience and location Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options, life and disability insurance, generous parental leave and fertility benefits, backup care support, commuter benefits, and more Vacation accrual at four weeks per year, two weeks of sick leave, and 10 paid holidays annually This is a compelling opportunity for attorneys currently practicing in other major markets who are considering a move to Los Angeles.
