Job Title: Medical Biller Location: Youngstown, OH Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Assistant Director Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our administrative team on a full-time basis . The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reimbursement from insurance providers. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of our practice through efficient and compliant billing practices. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies and government payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness prior to billing Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and resolve billing issues Post payments and reconcile Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal staff regarding billing inquiries Maintain knowledge of current billing regulations, codes (CPT, ICD-10), and compliance standards Generate and distribute patient statements and handle billing-related patient communication Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred Minimum 1-2 years of medical billing experience in a clinical or home health setting Proficiency in billing software Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently Work Schedule Full-time: 40 hours per week Flexible hours, Monday-Friday Compensation Hourly Rate: $15/hour Eligible for performance-based raises and bonuses Professional development and training opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
