About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join their Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and operational leader, responsible for all aspects of the people strategy, workforce engagement, and corporate safety. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the HR function is aligned with the organization's mission and values, and in delivering innovative, mission-driven solutions that enhance talent outcomes, organizational performance, and workplace well-being. The VP of HR will also oversee enterprise-wide workplace safety, driving a culture of proactive risk mitigation and compliance. Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor on workforce and culture matters, leading a cross-functional HR team, and driving critical initiatives related to talent management, leadership development, DEIB, and employee engagement. Applicants for the VP of HR position at the company should have a Master’s degree or equivalent, with at least 10 years' of HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years' in a senior HR leadership role. A background in healthcare, behavioral health, criminal justice reentry, or nonprofit services is preferred. The role requires a candidate with strategic acumen, a strong command of labor law, risk management, and organizational safety compliance, and a proven ability to foster trust and lead high-performing teams. The VP of HR will be expected to be a data-driven decision-maker, with excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, and an inclusive leadership style that promotes equity and collaboration. The position demands a leader who is flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing change, with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to integrate DEIB principles into all HR programs and policies.
