Delivery Driver – Livermore, CA US Foods is looking for a Delivery Driver to safely transport products to customers, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service. Schedule Sunday to Thursday. Start times may vary. Compensation Base rate: $39.25 – $42.25 per hour. Overtime compensation applicable. Benefits (beginning day one) Health insurance Pre‑tax spending accounts Retirement benefits Paid time off Short‑term and long‑term disability Employee stock purchase plan Life insurance Main Responsibilities Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times Unload products using a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated storage areas Verify accuracy of deliveries, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections/payments when applicable Perform customer service duties to enhance client experience Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections Physical Requirements Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly during each shift Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift) Qualifications Valid CDL Class A issued by state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Minimum six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery industry Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required Read and communicate in English; understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, record reports Register with FMCSA Clearinghouse (required) Why US Foods US Foods values drivers and offers growth opportunities, continuous training, and rewards for performance.
