Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available within a school setting in Hamden, CT. This position requires expertise in telespeech and teletherapy services, supporting students’ communication needs remotely and in person.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering speech therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms as well as on-site, adapting approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations
- Providing support for bilingual students, utilizing language skills to effectively engage and communicate
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Experience providing school-based speech-language services, including teletherapy
- Proficiency in delivering services to bilingual populations, with strong verbal and written communication in both languages
- Familiarity with telespeech platforms and ability to navigate digital tools for remote therapy
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student-centered care
