Lifeguard

Lifeguard Seasonal Professional Elkins Park, PA, US Maintaining constant vigilance over swimmers in swimming areas while on duty and identify any safety issues; no socializing while on duty. Rescuing swimmers and administer first aid or CPR as necessary. Informing swimmers of pool hazards and regulations governing the swimming area in a professional manner. Maintaining all lifesaving equipment to ensure its readiness for operation. Performing maintenance duties as directed by superior (e.g., clean bathrooms, pick up litter, empty trashcans, etc.) Providing a welcoming environment for all patrons. Reporting major infractions of rules to pool manager. Documenting any incidents and/or injuries. Complete other assignments as required.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum age: 15 – must have a worker permit (obtained at your High School). Possession of a valid lifeguard certification card from the American Red Cross. Valid American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification.
