CNC Machinist - Key Responsibilities As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-quality, precision components. Setup & Operation: Safely and efficiently set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (Mills and/or Lathes). Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances. Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges) to perform first-piece and in-process inspections, ensuring 100% compliance with quality standards. Tooling & Adjustments: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments. Perform necessary tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code/M-code edits if required. Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine daily maintenance on machinery and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. CNC Machinist - What We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum of 25+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mills or Lathes in a precision manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and mechanical drawings. Tools: Proficient with standard machine shop inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators). Mindset: A strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a pride in craftsmanship.
