Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating North Billerica, MARegistered Plumbing ApprenticeStart Your Career With a Team That Invests in ApprenticesDoug Anderson Plumbing & Heating is looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team.Whether you're just beginning your apprenticeship or already have experience in the trade, we're looking for someone who wants to learn, work hard, and build a long-term career in residential plumbing and heating.Unlike companies that keep apprentices doing the same task every day, our apprentices gain experience across multiple areas of the business, helping build a well-rounded skill set and a stronger foundation for licensure.Pay & BenefitsPay: $15.00 to $40.00 per hour (wide range based on experience and apprenticeship level)Paid bi-weeklyOvertime opportunitiesBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Sick TimePaid Holidays401(k) with up to a 4% company match (eligible after 6 months)Company-provided uniforms and safety gearOngoing technical training and apprenticeship supportEmployee Referral Bonus Program (up to $700 per referral)Stable, year-round workWhat You'll DoAs a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced licensed plumbers while gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of residential plumbing and heating.Depending on business needs and your experience level, you'll assist with and learn:Residential service callsPlumbing repairs and troubleshootingWater heater and tankless water heater installationsBoiler installations and heating systemsNew construction plumbingRemodel plumbingUnderground, rough, and finish plumbingFixture installationGas pipingSystem testing and commissioningJobsite preparation and cleanupCustomer communication and professionalismOur apprentices rotate between our service, installation, and construction departments to build a broad knowledge base and develop into highly skilled plumbers.QualificationsRequiredMassachusetts Plumbing Apprentice (or eligible to register)Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordReliable transportation to report to our North Billerica shop each workdayStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to safely lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spacesReliable attendance and positive attitudePersonal toolsAbility to work in all three (rotating) service, installation, and construction departments as business needs requirePreferredPrevious residential plumbing or HVAC experienceExperience with remodels or new constructionPersonal hand toolsExperience with ServiceTitan or similar field service softwareOSHA 10 Certification Why Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating?We're a locally owned company that believes in developing great technicians from the ground up.Our apprentices aren't treated like extra labor.
