Insurance Coverage Attorney

Overview Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking motivated and dynamic attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage practice. The position is based in our New York office, but our culture fosters collaboration daily. Responsibilities Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions. Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Take and defend depositions, attend court conferences, or argue motions (helpful but not required). Qualifications At least two years of relevant coverage experience. Strong litigation background with experience in bad faith and in analyzing coverage issues. Experience drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions. Experience conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Must be admitted and in good standing in New York; additional admissions in other states are a plus. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $220,000 annually, contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Annual performance‑based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920 hour requirement.
