Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 2 Days Remote) Practice Area: Insurance Coverage Job Summary A highly respected, AV-rated defense law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3–7 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience to join its New York City office. Responsibilities Handle insurance coverage matters from inception through resolution Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery Conduct legal research and coverage analysis Take and defend depositions Manage discovery and motion practice Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel Manage an active caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active admission to the New York State Bar (New Jersey admission is a plus) 3–7 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience Strong academic credentials Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills Experience handling depositions, discovery, and motion practice Ability to independently manage cases while working in a team‑oriented environment Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $145,000 and $175,000.
