Configuration Analyst

*Description*
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain the configuration baseline for products, systems, or projects
* Ensure all components and documents are clearly identified and controlled
* Manage changes to configuration items through a formal change control process
* Coordinate and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and processes for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Trouble Reports (TRs), Drawing Revision Notices (DRNs)
* Maintain accurate records of configuration item status, including versions, changes, and current configurations
* Conduct configuration audits to verify compliance with documented requirements
* Ensure physical and functional configurations match their documentation
* Track and report on the implementation of approved changes
* Reviews engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine documentation and material requirements, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and to ensure engineering orders reflect latest requirements
* Serve as an advocate for the program; coordinate and deliver Contract / Supplier Delivery Requirements Lists (CDRLs/SDRLs) to meet contractual requirements
* Analyzes proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, test specifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals
* Conduct document peer reviews of unclassified and classified internal and deliverable material
* Develop solutions for complex issues independently
* Assist in implementing innovative concepts to streamline processes, maintain quality, and boost efficiency
* Prepares documentation for archive
* Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated data
* Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and audit trails
* Ensure proper handling, storage, retrieval, and protection of technical data and documentation
* Continuously evaluate and improve configuration and data management processes and tools
* Ensure adherence to industry standards, organizational policies, and contractual requirements regarding configuration and data management
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, project management, and other teams to support project objectives
* Provide timely configuration and data management support throughout the project lifecycle
Basic Qualifications
* High School and a minimum of 5 years related experience
* Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel & PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe, TeamCenter, and other related CM programs
* Must have a Secret level clearance

* Strong understanding of configuration management functions, processes, and best practices
* Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 10007, or MIL-STD-973/IEEE 828
* Keen attention to detail for managing complex datasets and configuration items
* Familiarity with JIRA
* Self-motivated and able to effectively work with all levels of the organization
* Strong written and verbal communications skills along with the ability to understand and communicate technically oriented material
* Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of configuration data

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
